A bit of background…

Green Rooms Market was founded in 2018 by twin sisters Annie and Jemma, with a life-long passion for plants and gardening, as well as a love of independent shopping, Green Rooms Market was formed when they found ourselves on maternity leave at the same time and wanted to combine these passions. They launched the first market to great success in Peckham in May 2018.

Over 5 years Green Rooms Market grew to holding one or two markets a month popping up across London, Bristol, Kent and the midlands for joyous houseplant shopping events, whilst creating a thriving community of plant lovers and independent businesses.

2024 brings a new era for Green Rooms Market with Annie & Jemma stepping back and handing over the reins to Sarah Gerrard-Jones @theplantrescuer and Ian Liquid Gold Leaf, alongside a team of industry experts. The Green Rooms Market mission it to elevate the houseplant industry by providing a platform for independent businesses and creators to thrive. We aim to be the bridge that connects plant lovers with the best in the industry, offering experiences that are both educational and enriching. Green Rooms Market is dedicated to promoting eco-friendly practices, supporting local businesses, and creating spaces where the love for houseplants can flourish and be recognised as a professional sector.
